I sat there hitting a box for about 5 minutes only doing about 3 damage a hit. I'm using iron tools and weapons but it's taking forever, is it supposed to take a long time or is there some other reason. (Thr boxes were decayed)

I’ve always had the impression that iron weapons (at the very least) work alright on wooden boxes and simple wooden doors. Of course, the better the weapon . the more damage is applied to it.
