So the switch is now hard-wired as always on. And it seems silly to wire a brand new hole and junction box and wiring to have duplicate on-demand lighting when this Ring Floodlight Cam already has lights available. Unfortunately the ring is a standard size flood light expecting a standard round electrical box. It doesn't fit the existing so it won't have a complete seal allowing water to enter the Ring lights.
