I am not an inspector, but if there is an unsafe installation, such as a junction box 12 feet above a drop ceiling with all of the other good stuff that is installed above these ceilings, than for safety reasons (how about common sense) . I have a brief question regarding installing receptacles in a drop ceiling of a commerical building. I have about 7 boxes to put in, each containing two duplex receptacles, which will be flush mounted in standard 2'x4' ceiling tiles.
